| School of Computing Exemption Scheme for Polytechnic
Diploma Holders Admitted in AY2009-10 |
Diploma holders who are eligible to apply for admission to NUS
Computing courses and will be granted advanced placement credits as follows:
(i) 8 MCs from the University Level Requirements (one Humanities and Social Science GEM module and one Breadth module).
The 8 MCs will be counted against the 60 MC limit that students are allowed
to read in fulfilment of the 120/160 MCs required for graduation.*
(ii) 12 MCs from Unrestricted Elective Modules.
The 12 MCs from Unrestrictive Elective Modules will not be counted
against the 60 MC limit that students are allowed to read.*
* All modules are
tagged at Level-1000.
Additional modules exemptions
are granted to students with relevant diplomas. Details are indicated
in the tables below.
